How can you possibly have UTEP ahead of UNLV on the basis of what?
UNLV has wins over Louisville at the Pit, blowout of BYU, and SDSU at home. Utep best wins UAB how do you justify that. More wins against garbage opponents.

UTEP ran away with the conference title while UNLV tied for third in its conference, though I'll give you that the Mountain West is a bit better than CUSA.

UNLV also balances out those good wins with a couple of losses to Utah and a loss to USC. UTEP only has one bad loss to Houston.
