This is simply outstanding!

How often and how does it update?

How accurate has it been?

Thank you for this!

Updates a few times a week and it's only as accurate as the people who contribute to it. Check the rankings page on the right hand side of the blog.

Thanks. How accurate in past years - i.e. how many of final 68 in field have been in your the bracket matrix top 68. sort of like a 'nate silver' final scorecard. :) thanks again.

In the last 7 years, the matrix has picked 97.4% of the field correctly and is among the top 10 in predicting seeding. Check the rankings page for more info.

Oregon had an average seed of 7.9 from the final bracket projections, but ended up with a 12 seed from the committee. Makes me wonder, in the history of the bracket matrix, what is the largest delta between a teams actual seed and what the matrix predicted?
